One hectic week

Owh now im back being desk bound again. Singapore was so nice but tiring. I had an equal share of eating, shopping, walking and training all at once. I wanted to extend the trip and walk around till i feel the ache but i just cant!

I was trying to walk up and down Orchard Road with my eyes closed but i just can't resist the temptation but to step into almost every malls that were sprawled there. Everytime, i would think that this would be the last mall along the road, but just like a magic there will be another one next or even across. Bought a few stuff here and there, could say it was a great bargain and i can't stop but wonder how's the xmas sale will be like *choatic*

Lets not forget my primary reason for being in Singapore...hehe...yeps the Telecomunication Fraud Training was worth the money my company spent. The best training out of the lots that i've attended. Not to say that it was held outside of Malaysia, hence the excitement but no! it really was an experience, i learnt how to detect all kinds of forgeries. Now i know how to diffrentiate forged signatures, documents, credit cards and also cheques.

The training consist of 4 modules, so its logical that if u attend the first module then u should attend the next to come right? but no! they are sending my other colleagues for the second module, that's next week! Dissapointed like what!

And another thing was, they sent us for the training without enrolling us to sit for the certified exam after *sigh* you've got to fork out your own money for the exam fees, 35 pounds. I decided to do the exam and risk paying the fees with my own money if they refuse to settle it when the invoice come. Ha! nasib pass! hehe...if i take all 4 modules plus the exam, i can be a certified fraud analyst. The idea sounds tempting if only they'll send me for the other remaining courses :|

Anyways it was a great getaway! Btw, sumone suggested Genting this w'end, is it still on? Then there's futsal tmrw nite! i finally started playing last week (at last!), haha...i like it so does the rest, if it is a weekly ritual then i shall save money by quiting gym!

It wasn't easy!

Yesterday was a fucked up day for me. Took time off to get my passport done and i seriously in need for it by friday. So first i went running to my dad, my superhero! my saviour! Lucky thing he's here and i got what i wanted from him but the only thing i don't have is my birth cert. I was worried, i know i've reached the age that my birth cert shud be in my hands, but i trust my mum better with it, so it is safely tuck in my penang home but my parents are here in KL now.

I had everything confirmed that it can be done without a BC, even called up my uncle, an Immigration officer in penang. OK done, so off i went to the HQ office, tralala...i thought everything will be a smooth sailing but hek! it wasn't. All the smiling didn't pay off, they seriously wants to see my BC, i explained my situation at the lady at the counter and she asked her superior, this indian guy, he told me this "u kena ada u punya BC, kalo tak apa susah, balik la penang petang ni, esok pagi bole dtg balik!" Yes these people all are so very lansi! What! He thinks Penang is a fart away from KL ke? I explained for the umpteen times and he asked me to see his big boss. This lady another lansi fellow, the first thing she said after i knocked on her door and explained my situation was "Sapa suruh awak dtg jumpe saya?" OMG! what she thinks i suka2 wants to go see her and talk cock is it? She didn't even bothered looking at my face while we spoke like im some dirt scum bag so pathetic wanting a passport! I had to sell my uncle's name la, told her im so and so's niece and i had everything confirmed by him that im able to do my passport without a BC. She kept quite, then only she looked up and signed my papers. After that she even when out to the counter and informed that stupid indian fella who i was and when my turn came, he was making conversation with me like im his bestfriend! So now you're nice to me la!

*sigh* i settled my stuff but my colleague had to bring her BC, she's a sarawak baby. Pity her so i drove her back and forth so that she was able to have her passport in time. Yes i was so angry at those ppl, without their uniforms they are just as civil as i am! and i wonder whats the purpose of Mykad? *duh*

Later i spent time with my parents, went yum cha with them and laiim joined us. Reached home very late at night, so tired and my whole body was throbbing like there was a circus goin on inside! That was my whole of yesterday!

Seeing my dad with a bag full of medicine after his usual check ups at IJN breaks my heart. He's totally dependant on all those pills but i thank God, he's healthy.

broadband service

Pity watching u all trying to connect to the net using the bluetooth dongle via gprs last nite. Here something excerpted from a mail that i received just now, stating the outcomes from the Telekom's CEO visit last friday. One of it he said "All homes to have access to broadband services". Soon you all soon, fret not...hehe

Lookit! Lookit

An increase of rm1.10 for a pack of 20's and 60 cents for the 10's and in between both of these figures for a 14's ma chau hai!, now you hear me curse. I'll go by the carton, thanks to Nawi for i'll make him buy my monthly supplies of these dreadful sticks that doesn't bring me any good only more zits and stained teeth.

Talking bout zits, i got beauty tips from the guys last night! hehe they know girlie stuff ok!

Oh look at the spot on my face, it matches with my curtain colour! *dang*. All of a sudden it happened, i'll opt to cetaphil and see if miracles do happen...or else i'll try and fund myself bit by bit for a more dependable range. No more Body Shop for me, burnt a hole yet nothing changed!

Yes, i can still grin!

Girl talk

Funny how i was talking to suzy on the phone a week earlier bout us not seeing each other for so long and there last saturday i bumped into her at Muhibah restaurant. The thing i like most when meeting up with 2-3 months lost friends is the updates that they'll feed me. Our conversation took over my meal power coz i was chatting more than i was eating and later realised, hell that was a very expensive dinner and i didn't get any satisfaction out of it. We were laughing very hard at this particular someone and shared the same opinion about him- mental.

5 minutes after dinner we were craving for food again! and the thought of A&W pj for a banana split was very inviting...off we went.

Then came sunday, dd became a pretty boy. Took him for a grooming session and he was all prim and proper with nice smell. Hope that he behaves and not play around in his litter box while poo-ing.

Today is the 13th, some part of it last two years i've forgotten but some part of it i'll heart forever :) but then again it's just a Same Shit Diferent Day kind of thing. 2 years and more to come or otherwise? hmmm....

ok something funny/weird i heard this morning while paying for my breakfast, "teh tarik satu tapi tanak buih" said this one guy...go figure!

A slow friday...

Today wasn't just right. Monotonous, as always but with and extra kick unlike any other day. Came to work early coz this Dato' CE came to visit this morning, some telekom big shot with a name like that, boy i wonder why. Everyone was smartly dress with their ties and jackets. I have one, a maroon coloured jacket and it has my name sewn on it but its just hanging here waiting to be worn. His visit was over noon just now, during that time internet wasn't allowed, hahaha...!

Need a haircut but prefer to have one in penang but not sure when is the next trip back but im in need for one now! Nothing but buts!

Thank god! sale's over!

Friday nite met up with laiim, we had drinks and talked bout this and that since i haven't seen her for weeks. She stayed over at my place, after Carlos...the place that nite was so packed, till they ran out of glasses.

Saturday i did many lovely things! The newly-weds, liza and chubby pick me up for OU. My intention was only to hang out with them and catch up before she flies off to penang that nite. But no...i had to buy that Nautica jeans! After that day, i had to say to myself enough of pants buying, i have too many already! Later in the evening met up wit again laiim and nina + mohan. I've promised nina long-long time ago that i'd take her to cat whiskers. Off we went, she bought a lovely dress and i was looking at all the stuff there with one eye closed. We were the last customers to be shoo-ed off. Then we ate at hartamas square, planned to only have dinner but it led to dim sum for a very late supper, we left almost 3. Great company all day long...from their drunkards stories to everything else under the moon! Plus laiim made me a happy girl that nite with her toy to have. Looks very new, i am now only experiencing coloured screen.

The next day i finally got my lazy butt to the gym, after so long! and a swim after that. If only i could workout without complaining...yeah 10 years ago without the nicotine hehe

Monday blues were skipped...haha yes, no work for me yesterday. Errands were settled and guess what, i went to see Puteri Gunung Ledang again! It was like seeing it for the first time. And i wonder how people could fall off to sleep and claimed that the movie was a bore...hmm *scratches head*

PGL-Go see!

Last nite, we caught Puteri Gunung Ledang by luck. Tickets were sold out but we asked anyways, there was unclaimed pre-printed tickets, so we didnt know where our seats were exactly. I know its gonna be somewhere near the screen, near indeed...right smack in my face! yeah first row seats, nothing much can be done. Furthermore we had to split. Sitting alone, i know i'll get confuse big time.

Im sure that everyone's gonna be a critic after watching this malay epic. One thing's for sure, it deserves a big standing ovation. Everything was perfect, all was in its right places, the sets, costumes and everything else, nothing seemed fake. Well worth the million bucks and also its something that we can brag about. An eye opener, really...for a malay movie la kan. The usuals usually will end up with a hoot but not this one thou. Tapikan, the fighting scene was a bit too much, ala crouching tiger...that was a spoil. But who am i to judge lebeh-lebeh, these are plainly what i thot of the movie...cause historically speaking i can't say much, i gave away my history text book to my cousin few months before SPM and got a C6, so thats why! All in all i enjoyed it eventhou i had to clear my little confusion after the show was over with an aching neck.
