The waltz

"Nak raya, nak raya...dah raya dah pon!" My mum's all time usual saying on 1st day of Syawal. I was home for 11 long days, everyday was so busy like crazy, being the only kid, what brother? no brother!...i was left with some responsibilities, but i managed. Managing time properly in penang is a must!

Last minute shopping were done. Then the rituals, visiting the cemetary, breaking fast at Line Clear and later during the nite i'll be out having drinks with friends till late. Thats how my raya eve goes by for the past years. Im sure its very different from any of you all, the old school way.

On the day itself, all i can say i had a quiet raya, nothing much...some part of me can't wait for the day to end, its like a no biggie, lets get done and over with.

The days followed with going out for berayas and stuffing myself with great food! Meeting old-old friends, catching up and the joke's still funny during the BBQ at Nina's, that nite was the bestest out of all my 11 days being home.

Last sunday was the end of it, so i drove back to kl to face reality...haha that is forcing myself to wake up in the morning *bummer* yes, i don't like waking up to the sound of alarm clock!

Besides all that, last nite i watched Before Sunset. A simple movie, yet magnificent but somewhat frustrating ending, still it was a happy one. A classic romance with not much touching/kissing or whatsoever! The conversations between both characters were spontaneous, like they start talking and never could stop. There are some similiraties in the movie to how hawke writes. I still wish to see Before Sunrise instead of just reading it.

"you never really get over anyone you love because each person is so specific--the way he sighs in his sleep or frowns when he's thinking hard--that he can never be replaced (or let go of)." - Before Sunset

Syawal

When u think that everything will fall into place when u think it should be...otherwise could happen. When u think that nothing can mess up the day that u think should be pretty then the thinking is wrong. To think to plan, the plan might just fuck up when the day comes. Be impulsive, thats the only way that won't let you down. My thoughts of last weekend...i turned a new number with nothing much of a change.

Then again i had good food to feast on! Whats new kan, food! hehe Saturday was at Chillis...my appetite has always been big but i'll only stomach a little, as usual...i want this, this and this...in the end all went to go! The next day i tagged along the Pisscallians for steamboat, again we went to OU.

Raya is coming in a blink of an eye...im getting lazy at work. Still have lotsa stuff to settle...what's with my mum's jam tart, that's gonna take up all the space in my car. Imagine 14 bottles, i can make money by asking for transportation fees! oh boy! the madness is starting!

And now wishing u all Selamat Hari Raya...i hold no grudge against anyone. I read what she wrote and somehow it sunk in me. So till later and u lovely people, thanks for the thoughts...i love u more than the sky!

We tried to walk the cat, so man bought him a leash! Clad in a wickedly handsome camouflage leash...got style this cat ok! Trying to make him get used to it by making him do practice walk round the house. Later, took him out one floor down, he got scared, had to put him in his voyager all the way down to the carpark, let him loose still he failed to take a stroll instead he let himself loose from the leash! Dia sangat takut!

The next day was the fragrance warehouse sale...good bargain and great smell, we bought a few!

Today is friday so tomorrow is my day! Enjoy the w'end and the raya shopping eh!now im off...extra early!
